December 1, 2025 (week 11)
Kidpix, Draw picture of 'What Christmas means to me (2 weeks)
We will start class by watching the first part of the Berenstain Bears Christmas Tree. The second part will be watch next week. Start at 1 minute and stop at 12:12, continue next week.
Students will be introduced to the Kidpix software. They will observe the teacher access the program new Kidpix software from the dock. Students are to think of what happened during the first Christmas. Instructor will clarify to students that their picture should reflect Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus. Students will be shown how to select different drawing tools and how to use them effectively. Students will practice using the different drawing tools the first week. The second week they will start on their picture. They will save their picture and retrieve it the third week. They will finish drawing, put their first name and last name initial on it, and print their project.
December 11, 2025 (week 12, Day 6)
Christmas Games Online (1 week)

Students will play games from my Christmas games page. The browser window will be open for the students along with 3 games in tabs for the students to navigate.
We will watch the Christmas Story together and discuss the story.

January 5, 2026 (week 14)
Education.com (2 weeks)
We will start class by reviewing how to log in, access educational folder, access games, and logging off. We will review classroom procedures.
Students will access the online Education.com site.
Students will be monitored on the progress and mastering of objectives. Software allows for teacher to view student's progress and mastering through reports.

January 23, 2026 (week 16)
Kidpix Valentines Picture (2 weeks)
Students will be shown how to access the Kidpix software. They will use the animated alphabet to write out 'I love you!'. They will also write their name with the animated letters at the bottom of the page. They will be shown how to 'play' the animation.

Students will save their picture to their desktop the first week, find it and open it the second week, and finish and print it. They will finish the picture by drawing a picture relating to Valentine's Day the second week. They may use any remaining time to play on the Kidpix software.

February 11, 2026 (week 18)

March 3, 2026 (week 20)
Easter Project, Kidpix (2 weeks)

Week 1: Students will open Kidpix. They will use the animated letters to write out 'Easter' and their name. They will learn how to save their project with a name to their desktop.
Week 2: Students will find and open their saved project. They will illustrate the project first with the true meaning of Easter THEN with whatever other traditions they may like to add.
They will publish their project once they are finished with the requirements.

Mother's Day Card (1 week)
Students will open up the Kidpix application by opening up a template that has been created for them. They will put their names on the project. Next, they will illustrate the picture for their moms. They will save and print the project once they are complete.

Father's Day Card (1 week)
